## Supported Formats

- **SRT** (SubRip, .srt): Universal subtitle format with sequential numbers, HH:MM:SS,mmm timestamps, and plain text. Supported by virtually all media players.
- **VTT** (WebVTT, .vtt): W3C standard for HTML5 web video. Supports styling, positioning, and cue settings. Used by YouTube, Vimeo, and Video.js.
- **ASS** (Advanced SubStation Alpha, .ass): Advanced subtitle format with fonts, colors, positioning, borders, shadows, animations, and karaoke effects. Used in anime fansubs and professional subtitling.
- **SSA** (SubStation Alpha, .ssa): Predecessor of ASS with similar styling capabilities.
- **LRC** (Lyrics, .lrc): Synchronized lyrics format for music players. Each line begins with a [MM:SS.xx] timestamp tag. Used by foobar2000, AIMP, Poweramp, and MiniLyrics.
- **Sbv** (YouTube, .sbv): YouTube subtitle format with H:MM:SS.mmm timestamps.
- **TTML** (Timed Text Markup Language, .ttml/.xml): W3C standard for broadcasting and streaming. Used by Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and EBU-TT.
- **SCC** (Scenarist Closed Caption, .scc): CEA-608 broadcast closed caption format. Used in US television and streaming.
- **STL** (Spruce Subtitle, .stl): Binary subtitle format used in European DVD and broadcast workflows.
- **SMI/SAMI** (Synchronized Accessible Media, .smi): Legacy Windows Media subtitle format with HTML-like structure.
